Was in the neighborhood last night so we stopped by for dinner. It was lively and fun but not crowded on a Saturday night. I love the ease of parking and walking right in. The staff were very kind while we awkwardly argued at length about what to order. The pizza was great! The Marzano tomatoes and the amazing crust were stellar. Came out pretty quickly but not as fast as the massive delicious chopped salad. They really do use quality ingredients and it makes a huge difference in the taste of everything. Nice work. Nice people last night!

DeSano serves delicious, high-quality pizza that we keep coming back for. My husband and I have dined in once, but we mostly order takeout--it's our go-to for gatherings and a great meal at home. The NAP Verdura and NAP Bianca pizzas are always fresh and flavorful, and the Amanti Della Carne calzone is a favorite. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has a nice, welcoming atmosphere.

Saturday, March 15, '25 1pm Parking - very good, plenty of spaces Service: front house, very good, great recommendations for meat pizza choices. There's no supreme/combo equivalent. The sausage pepperoni 16" DeSano was the choice. It was my first time here, so I did not customize it for a well done crust; back house service was acceptable. The pizza came out fast due to the very hot authentic pizza ovens. The server came out with the pizza in about 10 minutes! I said it was so fast to the female server who was dead silent, no friendly interaction. Whatever... Ambiance: the main dining hall was an open design. You were able to see the prep, cooking, and cleaning areas. There was vintage music being piped in and two flat screen tvs mounted on the south wall. It was nicely decorated with wall graphics. FYI, you fetch your own aluminum plate, silverware, and drinking water. The table will have a roll of paper towels and condiments on the picnic style bench-table. The sausage pepperoni pizza was very tasty but I wish the crust was crispier. Is this is the typical 1pm Saturday springtime crowd? Didn't see it, c'mon down, not crowded.

I had the Hot honey with pepperoni pizza and it was delicioussss. This was my first time here and I came with a large group (about 25). There was enough seating and the food came out on time. The staff were super helpful and patient while taking our orders and made sure everything came out just right.

There are few pressures quite like having the pressure of choosing the lunch spot, on the spot for a group of 10 friends. I had that very pressure when I chose this spot. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the food here. The pizza was incredible, and universally enjoyed amongst the entire group. Then we went back for dessert and the gelato hit the spot for all involved. Service was good although pretty limited interaction in all honesty. I have an exclusive list of pizza places I would return to again, and this place was added to that list.

I've never had a bad time at DeSano. Hands down one of my favorite pizza spots in town. One of my favorite things is how fast the pizza always comes out. Especially when you come in so hungry and you want to eat immediately. The pizza is always so good. The sauce is great, the cheese they use is great. The place had a parking lot which is always a win in Los Angeles. And they have PLENTY of seating. I will absolutely always say yes if someone invites me here.

Hello! DeSano what a treat and hidden but not so hidden taste of Italia with its 4 beasts of Italian Pizza ovens! Quick and delicious pizza to your table from Roma to Hollywood .. quicker than a flight and way easier than going thru TSA! Ordered their delicious capricciosa and sangria only to be followed by their cannoli.... I can see why people leave their guns and take the cannolis home! Legit! Definitely coming back!

Love DeSano for Neapolitan style pizzas! I've tried many of their pizzas and they've all been delicious and different from each other. The crust is airy with a nice chew, just enough so that your jaw doesn't get tired. The best part is their pizzas aren't too wet or floppy! I hate a soggy slice that's common at all the other popular pizzerias. Pro tip: order only one pizza at a time so the others don't get cold. They cook so fast that there's barely any wait if you order your next pizza when you're halfway done with the first. My favorite part is the free mini toppings bar in the back- love adding fresh basil and roasted garlic! The chili oil is great as well. They have a huge seating area that would be great for parties or larger gatherings. Everything is self-service. There's also plentiful free parking in their lot. You have no excuse not to eat here!

Casual pizza place great for large parties or small. Pizza tastes great fresh out the oven, highly recommend for gatherings or takeout. Saw a lot of large groups and birthday parties. Was pretty busy on a Weekend night so keep in mind, your order might take a while, takeout or dine in. They give you a number when you order so just pick anywhere to sit with their open seating. Plenty of free parking available, a huge plus for LA.
